Thank you, Dr. Martin Luther King

Since learning of the killing of Osama bin Laden, I have had conflicted feelings:  I'm glad he's gone, but I am unable to celebrate his death.

I was struggling to put those feelings to words when the following quote was posted on Facebook:

I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives,
but I will not rejoice in the loss of one,
not even an enemy.
Returning hate multiplies hate,
adding deeper darkness to a night already
devoid of stars.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness;
only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate;
only love can do that.

Thank you, Dr. Martin Luther King.
