I received great news today! My short story, "Lost," has been accepted for publication in Barely South Review, a literary journal in Norfolk, Virginia. It is published by students and faculty of The MFA Program in Creative Writing at Old Dominion University, the Norfolk Division of the College of William & Mary.
"Lost" will appear in their September 2012 issue.

Whopee! Congrats! You deserve it. Love your stuff. Please remember to remind us when it is published so we can read it! I've been pretty much off line- working on taking old 35mm film and turning it into dvd movies. It has been a real upper for me. Going over all the old movie clips and seeing my husband again, young and vital. Yesterday I felt like he was riding along with me in the car- ever ready to help me drive. It was a good feeling. It's been 6 months since I lost him, and I am ever so grateful for all the warm memories I have. And maybe he is there riding along in the car- who knows!! Again, so good to see you keeping at it and doing so well. I hope to get back to my blog soon! (((hugs))) judy
